Carpinatia (gens) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Carpinatia (gens) The ''gens Carpinatia'' was an opulent Roman family that grew to prominence towards the end of the Republic. The most prominent member of the family, Lucius Carpinatius, gained his reputation as one of the ''publicani'' in Sicily during the last government of Verres, a government with whom he was very intimate and which would ultimately lead to his family's demise.
